Empty Bowls 2017 Description: Empty Bowls is an international project to fight hunger, personalized by artists and art organizations on a community level. This event will take place in Baton Rouge for the third year in a row, on April 8, 2017. You are invited to attend this special event and experience a unique fundraising effort that offers access to hundreds of handcrafted ceramic bowls from local Baton Rouge artists, followed by a simple meal for lunch. Tickets are $20.00 with a $1 processing fee and will include one ceramic bowl of your choosing as well as lunch. The event will start at 11 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. Additional bowls can be purchased at the event. All proceeds from this Empty Bowls will benefit the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
